This is the initial section of the framework, identifying the requirements of customers, assessment into the requirements and then the prioritisation of the requirements.

Introduction to Demand Process
The demand process will look at how requirements filter down from Country or Centre Business, to be investigated and then eventually prioritised into the programme backlog. This process focuses on ensuring the right requirements (correct level of detail) are filtered down to the correct feature team timeously.
Outcomes to be Addressed by Section
- Effective resourcing and efficient use of available resources through balancing IT demand across time, risk, benefit, business units and across investment categories so that choices are strategic.
- Improvements to Business and IT alignment due to the collaborative effort in the investigation and prioritisation process.
Quick Wins
- New requirements need to be prioritised against current programme backlog items collaboratively.
- More frequent feedback loops with Country throughout the demand process by updating them on the features prioritised.
